The Alto Club Golf Academy sits at the edge of SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort and is led by Global Ambassador, Suzann Pettersen, alongside a team of top-level professionals committed to developing players of all ages and abilities. With the transformation of the Alcornoques 9-hole course, the new Academy offers state-of-the-art training within a calm and natural setting.
Former Solheim Cup Captain, Suzann Pettersen brings her major-winning experience and strategic mindset to the Academy, helping shape its teaching philosophy and dynamic programmes. Her influence ensures a consistent, high-performance approach across all levels of instruction.
Facilities include a natural grass tee line, a covered tee line with private coaching area, Toptracer technology, custom fitting centre, multiple chipping and putting areas, and night-time practice options.

Junior Academy
The junior golf offering at The Alto Club Golf Academy fosters both skill and spirit.
Here, young players receive thoughtful instruction across technique, course awareness, and sportsmanship. Sessions crafted by the skilled coaching team are engaging, structured, and suited to various experience levels.
Elite Programmes

Our two signature programmes—HIGH Performance and ELITE—offer tailored pathways for junior golfers aged 12 to 17, designed to elevate their game and unlock their full potential.
The par-3 course
Designed by former Ryder Cup star, Manuel Piñero and meticulously laid out, the new par-3 course presents a challenge across varying distances and lies, allowing players to sharpen their control and decision-making.
Fitting
Precision starts with the right equipment. Our fitting studio uses advanced technology to assess your swing, ball flight, and preferences. Every recommendation is tailored to length, loft, lie angle, shaft, and grip – offering a measured approach to greater consistency and control on the course.

Toptracer Range
